Chapel times at Heritage are a chance to refocus and draw close to God. Students are challenged to grow continually in their personal walk with God. They are encouraged to think about the world around them and how they can impact it. Students are given the opportunity to consider the learning and discussions of the classroom to their life and faith. Chapel is one of the unique features of a Christian campus and is a vital part of student life at Heritage. Twice each week the community gathers for worship. On Tuesdays, the whole institution gathers (College, Seminary, faculty & staff) in the chapel in our Community centre. Services may involve guest speakers, worship bands, sharing times, musical offerings, and prayer. Seminary LunchesFollowing the Thursday chapel, Seminary students, faculty and staff have the opportunity for further community building and interaction over a shared meal during our “twoonie lunch” that takes place in what we call the “connections café”. Always a great time to meet, share and encourage one another, it also serves as a wonderful transition between the morning and afternoon classes and the chance to enjoy a simple meal together. |
